To win a Side Bet the following events have to occur (1; 2; 3 & 4 below):
1. Side Bet must be placed by the Player; and
2. Bonus round must be triggered (a Player has a 1 in 10 chance of a Bonus being triggered). This number is selected for a Player on a Quick Pick basis). A Player’s Quick Pick selection is then compared to the Zamlottery 1 of 13 Plus or Zamlottery 1 of 13 Bonus event (whichever applicable) (2nd ball set). If the Player’s Quick Pick number matches the result of the official lottery ball set, a bonus round is triggered.
2.1 Example of Side Bet placed and Bonus triggered:
2.2 Example of Side Bet not placed and Bonus triggered:
3. If a Side Bet is placed and a Bonus is triggered per clause 2.1 above, the game will reflect what a Player needs to match in order to win the Side Bet payout amount. The game will reflect, in the middle of the wheel, whether a Player has to match:
3.1 an equal - an equal means that the numbers of the inner and outer (bonus) wheels are exactly the same and outlined in gold in the below image:
3.1.1 All possible combinations of an equal match are reflected in the table below:
3.2 a double – a double means that the number of either wheel must be double that of the other wheel. An example is outlined in gold on the below image:
3.2.1 all possible combinations of a double match are reflected in the table below:
3.3 a triple – a triple means that the number of either wheel must be triple that of the other wheel. An example is outlined in gold on the below image:
3.3.1 all possible combinations of a triple match are reflected in the table below:
3.4 The three scenarios above are determined by the RNG- Random Number Generator result of the 3rd ball set as follows:
3.4.1 If the result is 1 = an equal match is required;
3.4.2 If the result is 2 = a double match is required; or
3.4.3 If the result is 3 = a triple match is required.
3.5 Note: provided a Side Bet has been placed-
3.5.1 in the event that a double or triple is required and the outcomes of the inner and outer wheels are both 0, the Player will not win the Side Bet Payout;
3.5.2 only in the event that an equal is required and the outcomes of the inner and outer wheels are both 0, will the Player win the Side Bet Payout amount.
4. The result of the 4th ball set determines the outcome of where the outer (bonus) wheel lands. If the inner wheel and outer wheel match, as is required in terms of the explanation under clause 3 above (equal, double or triple), then a Player’s Side Bet stake/bet amount will be multiplied by 125 (125/1 odds) and is then added to original stake/bet amount (Side Bet Payout). A Player’s winning Side Bet will be added to Table Bet winnings (if any) and credited as one amount to a Player’s Play Credits/winnings.
4.1 If the inner and outer wheel do not match as is required, the Player would not have won their Side Bet. If the Player has a winning Table Bet or winning Table Bets, these will be paid out. If the Player has no winning Table Bet, no winnings are paid out.
4.2 A Player does not have to win a Table Bet in order to be paid out for a winning Side Bet (as defined above).
