The gratitude of a 14-year-old girl salvaged

Good day, my name is Zinzi - the girl who you so kind-heartedly sponsored with R450 000 towards her schooling at The High School For Girls, Potchefstroom - and because of all the confusion, emotion, disbelief and stricken shock of that surprise morning of 5 December 2016, I couldn't conventionally display how grateful I was towards you and the LottoStar team (quite frankly all I could do was cry, cry, cry, and cry some more), so I'd love to steal this 5 minutes of your time to properly thank you through this email.

...I don't even know where to start...But...

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! AND THANK YOU SOME MORE!

What else can I say? I honestly believe that there are no humanly known, conventional ways of properly conveying the strong waves of feelings of appreciation, gratitude, debt and loyalty that washes over me whenever I think of what you've done for me. It gets to the point where the shock is so overwhelming that I find myself drifting off into a pool of unbelieving shock only to wake up to the realization that this ISN'T a dream. Who would've thought that wishing upon a star (or a LottoStar should I say) would lead to all you wildest dreams coming alive and drastically changing your life for good. Its like the fairytale ending every princess dreams of, but for me it's not quite the end... It's only just the beginning of a whole new chapter of my life which I really can't wait to write.

All this excitement, anticipation, hope and overwhelmness is owed all to LottoStar. None of this would've been possible without you and the Lottostar team, not to mention the other team with the world's biggest helping hand, the 947 Studios (and Primedia) and the ever so warm hearted Mr.Ravi Naidoo. You are all so caring and giving and there are truly no proper words of expression and conveyance that can formally allow you to fully understand the 'gratitude of this 14-year-old girl salvaged' but.... THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES MORE!

I especially want to thank LottoStar for so willingly believing in me and investing inconceivable amounts of money, kindness, hope, belief, and trust into me. There are just no words other than THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH that I can honestly from the bottom of my heart find myself to say, stutter and repeat a billion times more.

You have no idea what you've done for me and I'm so grateful... THANK YOU.

I haven't even the slightest clue as to what so significant I've done to deserve such amazing people and blessings in my life or where to start to repay you but... I sincerely THANK YOU.

I'll forever be in your debt (literally) and I'll never forget what a difference you've made in my life so THANK YOU ONCE MORE.

Sincerely Yours

Zinzi

Zinzi visits LottoStar:

Zinzi, her proud mom and younger sibling arrived at LottoStar today. They were excited to see the LottoStar team and share Zinzi's current achievements and progress.

Zinzi is doing exceptionally well at school and achieved academic colours. With 13 subjects and other schooling activities, this can seem challenging and daunting, but Zinzi aged 16, believes with hard work and determination anything is possible.

Aside from her academic commitments, Zinzi enjoys getting involved with other activities such as: sport, school pageants, cultural activities, public speaking, school plays and much more. She has received numerous awards and has been acknowledged for her dedication, commitment and input.

She feels this experience has helped her grow as a person and is "nothing short of a dream". She thanks LottoStar for believing in her and giving her this opportunity to achieve her dreams and aspirations.

LottoStar is extremely proud of Zinzi, who is highly motivated and very intelligent. She is an inspiration to many!
