LottoStar / KFM Christmas Wish Campaign
LottoStar partnered with KFM to make a special Christmas Wish come true to people and families in need. During this initiative, KFM asked the public to submit a wish on behalf of others they felt were in need of help.
Jack's Story
A determined, dedicated and ambitious young man, Jack Sekalo, dreamt of becoming a chartered accountant.
He enrolled for a Bachelor of Accounting degree at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, successfully completing the first two years. Jack tried saving up for his studies by earning extra money lecturing mathematics to other students during his matric year. It was a difficult time for Jack as he also studied by candlelight at night.
However, Jack required additional funding to complete his studies at the University of the Free State.
After hearing Jack's plea for help, LottoStar enthusiastically came to the rescue and contributed R341 900 to cover the cost of the degree. The generous contribution from LottoStar made it possible for Jack to continue with his studies and finally complete his 3rd year.
LottoStar has once again made dreams come true!
