LottoStar had the pleasure of donating R1 Million to the Gift of the Givers and supporting their various causes, including healthcare, education, and hunger alleviation.

The Gift of the Givers Foundation is the largest disaster response non-governmental organization (NGO) that originates from Africa. The essence of their presence is to bring hope and restore dignity to the most vulnerable.

They have been helping the less fortunate for 28 years, during that time they have brought hope to people across 44 countries and provided R3.5 Billion in aid.

Their primary focus consists of the following: disaster response, hunger alleviation, water provision, healthcare, education, and social upliftment. Helping over 15,000 patients monthly, providing over 150 wheelchairs, substance farming, distributing food parcels, provision of cooked meals and meat distribution.

In addition, they have made their protein-based Sibusiso Food Supplement available, it’s the world’s first groundnut high-energy and protein supplement, which doesn’t require refrigeration. The product is an innovation of the Gift of the Givers.

Gift of the Givers achievements include presidential awards, 9 honorary doctorates, recognition from the parliament, international awards, and featured in 4 publications.
