As the country and entire world stagger and try to survive through this difficult time due to the Covid – 19 Pandemic, LottoStar would like to provide and hopefully spread a little light in what may seem like a very dark moment in time. Therefore, we are teaming up with our long-time radio partners, Jacaranda FM and East Coast Radio to give 100 families struggling through this difficult lockdown period, their share of R1 million!

We understand that the countrywide lockdown has had a detrimental affect on many households in South Africa, some worse than others, and we hope that this donation can a long away in helping those families through this uncertain time.

LottoStar along with East Coast Radio’s Big Favour and Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels will each assist struggling families from Monday 6 April 2020 with their share of R1 million, weekdays on both stations, for two weeks. This initiative will allow listeners to nominate a family experiencing financial difficulty due to the lockdown from Friday 3 April. Nominations can include anyone who has been put on unpaid leave, entrepreneurs who are unable to operate their businesses or still trying to support staff, or anyone who’s lost their job because of the lockdown.

We know that we cannot sit back ideally through this pandemic - we must play our part in helping as many people in South Africa as we can.

The campaign will launch on 3 April on both stations. Tune in for more details.
