Welcome to the 2nd week of LottoStar’s Your Month of Millions competition with Kfm 94.5. This week’s total contributions will go towards various medical causes through the Gift of the Givers Foundation.

Every life is precious, Gift of the Givers assesses needs around communities and disadvantaged areas to be able to call on a dedicated team of highly skilled and diverse medical specialists to lend support around the world.

In addition, as an ongoing project across South Africa, they also aid in the distribution of wheelchairs to individuals who are on waiting lists or cannot afford to purchase one.

Furthermore, employing a comprehensive, ad-hoc wheelchair donation programme, that can provide means for mobility upon requests from schools, hospitals, and individuals.

A further focus of intervention includes walking aids for individuals affected by paralysis, amputation, or birth defects. Gift of the Givers also operates a Hearing Testing and Hearing Loss Programme at schools for needy children.

The programme is overseen by Dr. Nadir Kana, who is an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, together with Carmen Esterhuizen, who is an Audiologist and Speech Therapist.
