Lambano Sanctuary is a non-governmental organization established in 2001 that assists individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa.

During the period it was established, there were at least 4,1 million South Africans living with HIV/AIDS.

The sanctuary specializes in providing care for children living with HIV. In addition, they provide support for their families by meeting their basic needs.

There are currently four Lambano Sanctuary homes caring for 28 HIV-positive children between the ages of 11 and 22. Antiretroviral (ARV) medication is offered in these homes for the children.

As a result of their experience caring for sick children, the sanctuary will be opening a paediatric medical facility in Gauteng. This facility will be exclusively for children living with HIV.

Lambano Sanctuary relies heavily on donations. LottoStar and The Star Foundation aim to raise R4 Million which will contribute towards the costs of the medical facility.
