It was a Good Friday indeed for one lucky UK winner who scooped a massive £122 Million (over R2,4 Billion in South Africa) EuroMillions jackpot. The lucky winner matched 5 EuroMillions numbers and 2 Lucky Stars on Friday, 2 April.
This is the fifth-largest jackpot win in European National Lottery history. It is also the second EuroMillions jackpot win this year after the New Year’s Day £39 Million (over R783 Million) jackpot win.
“What brilliant news, one UK winner has scooped tonight’s massive £122 million EuroMillions jackpot,” joyously commented the senior winner’s adviser, Andy Carter.
“They are now the fifth biggest ever National Lottery winner,” he continued.
According to the UK’s Evening Standard, this win puts the lucky winner in the top 1000 of Sunday Times’ rich list 2020. But the question remains, who’s the lucky winner?
The Good Friday EuroMillions winning numbers were: 04-21-34-40-47, and the Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 05.
The highest EuroMillions jackpot win was in February this year when a Swiss player bagged over £180 Million (over R3,6 Billion).
