Ireland celebrates another major EuroMillions winner – On Tuesday one lucky person in Ireland won the €49.5 Million EuroMillions jackpot (R961 Million in South Africa). According to David, he found out that they had won the lottery while at work and quickly rushed home to present the good news to his wife - but she also had her own to share too. “I was shaking and totally lost for words which never happens”, explained Lynne. “I went and had a bath for two hours and just lay there trying to take it all in”, she continued.

Remarkably, this is the third time the Price family wins the lottery. David’s sister, Judith, won the lottery in the 90s as part of the Cardiff cigar factory syndicate and Ade Goodchild, a distant relative, won a payout of over R1,3 billion in the 

“It's pretty amazing to have three big winners in one family”, remarked David.

What will you be doing with your winnings?

As I mentioned, I’m going to help a few people and the remainder will be for my daughter and my grandkids. They are coming to visit me from Europe in December. While the second-largest one was claimed by a South Carolina woman who bagged $1,537 billion Mega Millions jackpot in October 2018.

The jackpot has now reset to $40 million for Saturday’s draw.
